Hoi An has always held a special place in my heart peaceful, romantic, and full of charm. The lantern lit streets, the gentle sound of oars on the Hoai River, and the aroma of cao lau, mi quang, and banh mi Phuong create a living painting of Vietnamese soul and culture. I truly love Hoi An every corner, every lantern seems to tell its own story. But now, seeing Hoi An submerged under deep floodwater, I can’t help but feel sad and heartbroken. This beloved ancient town is struggling through the storm, and I just hope Hoi An will soon dry up and shine again with smiles, lights, and familiar flavors filling its streets once more. Hoi An Ancient Town is such a beautiful place, especially at night when all the lanterns light up, super magical! The town is really lively with so many tailor shops and cute coffee spots everywhere. They also have lots of linen dresses, super cute and affordable! Just make sure to negotiate a little before buying. Love the riverside view and the chill vibes. You can walk around, try local food, take nice photos, and just enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite places in Vietnam!
Hoi An Old Town is absolutely beautiful and full of charm. The lantern-lit streets, yellow buildings, and riverside views make it such a peaceful and picturesque place to walk around. There are lots of small shops, cafés, and restaurants to explore, and the atmosphere at night is magical when the lanterns light up. It can get crowded during the day, but early mornings and evenings are perfect for a quiet stroll. Definitely a must-visit when in Vietnam.
